On 6 February 2026, Selang Thuto Full-Service School in Kanana relaunched its Quality Learning and Teaching Campaign (QLTC), bringing together educators, stakeholders and community partners around a shared commitment to improving the learning experience for children. The relaunch coincided with World Read Aloud Day, placing literacy and the joy of reading at the centre of the day.
Our response
Athletes In Need visited Selang Thuto to witness the relaunch and support the school's efforts to strengthen learning and literacy among its learners. As part of the initiative, AIN supported the school with a book donation, helping increase access to reading material and building an environment where children can develop their literacy skills and discover the power of reading.
